1. Gil Skaletzky VLSI Director Emblaze Semiconductor LTD:
   Pinhas (Pini) Krengel worked in our VLSI department as an outsourcing engineer for a period of 5 months (Oct/02 - Mar/03). He was involved in a various design definition stages (high level to low level), implemented those designs, and usually verified them with its own verification environment prepared especially for those designed. The designs in which the above flow was implemented by him were: a design from scratch of a very complicated AHB master block (w/ LLI, and configurable number of ports), and an integration of a USB core. Throughout the work period Pini showed very high level of professionalism, independence, high knowledge in all aspects of VLSI design (logic and backend implications), and self educating skills. He is an overall VLSI designer, capable of definition and implementation of any logic block. Pini is also a very communicative and pleasant person. Very soon he becomes an integrated part of the design team. His outsourcing origin is hardly noticeable. That is also reflected by his non-compromised commitment to his tasks, a skill that is not always found among outsourcing engineers.
2. Ronen Ben Zino, verification contractor, PMC-Sierra:
   Pini is a very talented engineer During his work at PMC he has demonstrated deep knowledge in every aspect of the VLSI and verification field.he has higher standards in every aspect of the work and willing to invest and share his knowledge with every Engineer in the team. it was pleasure to work with him in the past 2 years.
