- Recently I needed to mask some checkers till the DUT supports them.
- Than it is always the concern, will I forget from that the checker is disabled, when it becomes ready.
- I suggest a two step methodology. First I issue a special message. Second I view the simulation using gvim with special high lights file.
- The print is done in two places. First when a DUT error occurs, by extending the write method. Second is coloring the simulation. For that I use gvim.
- In both messages I included the string feature NOT tested - need to remove mask. The suffix is always colored with. This makes the gvim color scheme generic as opposed to project specific.
