ASIC/FPGA Design and Verification Out Source Services
This document explains how to read all VSOF into vManager.
- In the current specman verification project, which I work, the coverage and regression is collected and managed using the tools ePlanner and vManager from cadance.
- Two test-benches are required. While most of the tests end quickly some tests run quite for long time.
- During the day more tests are added and sometimes bugs in the verification environment are fixed.
- This requires to stop a current regression and start a new one after the changes.
- At the end of day, when I check coverage goals, I find it very difficult to manually read in the assorted VSOF files using the GUI.
- For that vManager pre-command option is very useful to read all VSOF files:
- emanager -p "add_sessions -vsof /proj/torres/vmanager_results/INGB_1/*/*.vsof"
- The following little script maybe can helpful in gathering all coverage files into one directory with a unique name: script
- Another option is to scan for each vsof, and create a script to launch e manager. The command should look like:
emanager -p "add_sessions -vsof uart_a.pini.12_01_25.group.vsof -vsof uart_a.pini.12_01_26.group.vsof "
