How To Play gm.asp video files

There some TV channels that you can not get the mms link directly. If it is stored in asp format, this page explains how to see it. The idea is download all files to local disk using mplayer dump stream option. The perl script generates two bash scripts: one for download all mms and the other to play it.

1. First go the web site where you want to see the movie.


2. Click on the movie. Instruct your browser to open the link with vi. The file is gmp2.asp and is stored at /tmp.


3. run the perl script like this
   perl ~/bin/gm_asp.pl gmp2.asp


4. The output of the script is two bash files. First download all videos by
   ./gm_asp.unx
   Next watch the movies by
   ./gm_mp_play.unx
