How to free a specman license while keeping the simulation as well as specman GUI untouched.

1. First run specman command without entering background i.e. don't put & at the end.


2. When you stop the simulation, you can hit control Z at the terminal, from which you ran the simulation.

Releasing license for feature Incisive_Specman_interactive


3. To continue work: from the terminal hit fg.


4. In the specman console you see:
   Incisive Enterprise Simulator: reacquired license
   
   
5. Once specman acquires a license, you can continue your work.
