Control and set the vim title bar.
-
This page shows how to control the title bar of vim. This feature is very
nice to have, when one opens multiple files with similar directory and file name.
-
In my case I open a few simulation logs and have the title bar name prefixed
with a meaningful name.
-
To install do the following:
Go to and download the .vim file.
Copy the file. I put it in ~/.vim.
Source it either manually or add a line to your .gvimrc:
so ~/.vim/titleformatter.vim
start using it. Example:
:SetVimTitleString web
